A set of fourteen storybooks, each holding an instructive tale of the voyages and adventures of the camel, Faqib, and his friend, Ali. Who is also a camel. Originally made for a freeform roleplaying event, more sets were constructed when they became popular as souvenirs of the event. Each book is bound in dark brown Ethiopian kidskin and hand-painted with a faux-Arabic calligraphic script pattern.
The centrepiece of each book is a gold-leafed art clay likeness of the eponymous camels, and the endpapers have a Byzantine-style pattern.
