The eye would follow you around the room. If it had legs.
It doesn’t have legs. That would be weird.
A hand-sewn book in scaly maroon metallic leather, with gold and black endpapers and a green acrylic eye. This was a foray into a new technique – the eye is set into a sculpey socket, and can be manipulated from inside the cover through a black velvet pad. This is also the first book I’ve completed using the backing and rounding technique, and I’m really pleased with the end result.
